Spirit of the Land is a Sydney based collective of Indigenous and non – Indigenous musicians, dancers and visual artists. Inspired by natural tribal rhythm and nature, Spirit of the land features traditional aboriginal vocalists from remote Australia, driven by the pulsing rhythm of the yidaki didjiriru and electronic dance beats. The sounds of native frogs, insects and birds, create the voices of the living planet.

Traditional aboriginal song and dance from the Worlds oldest living culture is presented in contemporary style featuring multi media visual projections of Australia, her environment and people. The Spirit of the Land is an audio visually engaging experience, bridging the gap between our 21st Century technologically progressive culture and our ancient earth based tribal roots.
